At just 25, Praise Onyeagwalam, professionally known as Director Pink, is rapidly becoming one of Nigeria's most visionary music video directors. With an expressive visual language that blends cinematic flair, cultural resonance, and emotional nuance, she's shaping how Afrobeats and African music at large are seen and felt.

Her most recent work, Davido's 10 Kilo, is a prime example of this vision. The video doesn't just accompany the song; it expands it. Although formally trained in Economics at the University of Lagos, Director Pink's actual education began earlier, in her church's media setup, where she started providing filming and editing services at the age of 15. Her first professional breakthrough came in 2020, when she directed “Philomena” by Marxii, marking the official launch of her directing career.

• Her music video for Chike ft Simi's  “Running To You” became the most-viewed Nigerian music video in early 2021, immediately putting her on the creative map.
